NYC Health + Hospitals has appointed Hillary Jalon as senior vice president and chief quality officer and Manny Saez, PhD, as senior vice president of facilities development, the New York City-based health system announced June 3.
Ms. Jalon, who brings 30 years of healthcare quality experience, will oversee quality assurance, performance improvement, accreditation, patient safety, risk management and care experience across the system. She previously served as associate executive director of quality at NYC Health + Hospitals/Community Care.
Dr. Saez, who previously served as vice president, takes charge of a roughly $10 billion facilities portfolio spanning more than 300 projects and 20 million square feet across the system, according to NYC Health + Hospitals.
“Hillary has been a driving force in building a culture of quality and safety across our system,” said Mitchell Katz, MD, president and CEO of NYC Health + Hospitals. Dr. Katz added that Dr. Saez has been “the steady hand behind some of our most complex infrastructure work.”
