Laura Iavicoli, MD, is the new CMO at the health system’s Elmhurst hospital and Dave Holson, MD, was named CMO of its hospital in Queens. They stepped into the roles Dec. 1, according to a Dec. 13 system news release.
Dr. Iavicoli and Dr. Holson will be responsible for quality improvement, risk management, patient safety and medical department service line operations within their hospitals. They replace Jasmin Moshirpur, MD, who worked in various roles across the health system for more than 50 years.
NYC Health + Hospitals is the city’s public hospital system and includes 11 hospitals.
