Novant Health, a 19-hospital health system based in Winston-Salem, N.C., appointed three new executives to its Triad Region leadership team.
The appointments, announced May 30, finalize the region’s leadership team after Novant unveiled its restructured leadership operating model in February.
John Bowen, president of Parkview Regional Medical Center and affiliates in Fort Wayne, Ind., was appointed senior vice president and president of the Triad Region, according to a system news release. He will begin his new role on June 16.
Chris Brown, RN, joined Novant May 19 as facility president and COO of Novant Health Thomasville (N.C.) Medical Center, according to the release. Most recently, he served as market president and CEO of Clyde, N.C.-based Haywood Regional Medical Center.
Jon Mercer will join Novant June 30 as president and COO of Novant Health Clemmons (N.C.) Medical Center, according to the release. Mr. Mercer will join Novant after serving as senior vice president and COO of Morganton, N.C.-based UNC Health Blue Ridge.
