Novant Health Enterprises names chief physician innovation officer

Eric Eskioglu, MD, has been named the chief physician innovation officer for Novant Health Enterprises, the innovation business division of Winston-Salem, N.C.-based Novant Health.

Dr. Eskioglu will continue to perform his duties as both executive vice president and chief medical and scientific officer of Novant Health, as well as taking on the role at Novant Health Enterprises. In the role, he will help assemble teams and forge partnerships with organizations across the healthcare and technology industries to accelerate innovation in the field.

“As we continuously evaluate how we can best deliver remarkable care, it is ever important to remain agile and drive performance while developing innovative models that leverage technology and the full strength of our team,” said Dean Swindle, executive vice president of Novant Health and president of Novant Health Enterprises. “I look forward to partnering with Dr. Eskioglu, who will serve as a catalyst, helping to design and innovate scalable solutions for some of the health care industry’s biggest challenges.”
