Novant Health Appoints 3 Executives

Winston-Salem, N.C.-based Novant Health has rearranged its executive leadership and filled three executive positions.

Jeff Lindsay, president of the greater Winston-Salem and eastern markets of Novant Health, has been appointed executive vice president and COO of the health system, effective June 1.  

He previously has served as director of cardiac services at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem and president of Novant Health Huntersville (N.C.) Medical Center.

Denise Mihal, RN, COO for the greater Winston-Salem market of the health system, will become the new senior vice president of the greater Winston-Salem market and president of Forsyth Medical Center.

Ms. Mihal previously served as executive director of Novant Health Charlotte (N.C). Orthopedic Hospital and administrator at Novant Health Huntersville Medical Center and Novant Health Brunswick Medical Center in Bolivia, N.C.

Sean Sanz will serve as COO of Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center. He most recently served as vice president of operations for the greater Winston-Salem market. Prior, he served as COO and a finance director of Novant Health Rowan Medical Center in Salisbury, N.C., and finance director at Presbyterian Medical Center in Charlotte.
