New Hyde Park, N.Y.-based Northwell Health named Collin Brathwaite, MD, system chief of bariatric surgery and chair of surgery at Northwell’s Plainview (N.Y.) Hospital.
In his dual role, Dr. Brathwaite will oversee strategic growth and clinical excellence in bariatric surgery services across the system and strengthen the surgical services and regional growth of the surgery department at the hospital, according to a March 3 system news release.
He specializes in bariatric, minimally invasive and robotic surgery.
