Staten Island (N.Y.) University Hospital, part of New Hyde Park, N.Y.-based Northwell Health, appointed Amin Mohamadi, MD, vice president of clinical research.
In the position, Dr. Mohamadi will be responsible for strengthening the hospital’s research enterprise, guiding studies, growing academic research, and mentoring residents and fellows, according to a Nov. 4 system news release. He will continue to serve as an attending physician and assistant professor at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell.
Dr. Mohamadi first joined the hospital in 2023 as associate director of research for its department of emergency medicine.
