Northwell’s Huntington (N.Y.) Hospital named Patrick Socias, MSN, RN, vice president and chief nursing officer.
“Patrick’s career reflects the essence of nursing leadership across Northwell,” Launette Woolforde, EdD, DNP, RN, executive vice president and chief nursing officer at Northwell Health, said in a Sept. 30 system news release. “He brings caring perspectives, strong values and experience and a clear commitment to advancing nursing practice and patient care.”
Mr. Socias began his career at Northwell as a registered nurse in the cardiothoracic unit at North Shore University Hospital. Most recently, he served as senior director of operations and patient care services at Northwell’s Sandra Atlas Bass Heart Hospital.
