Northwell hospital names president

Meagan Sills was appointed president of Staten Island (N.Y.) University Hospital, part of New Hyde Park, N.Y.-based Northwell Health.

Ms. Sills steps into the role after serving as the hospital’s deputy president since 2021, according to an Oct. 8 hospital news release.

She succeeds Brahim Ardolic, MD, who has transitioned to a new position as executive vice president and president of Northwell’s Metro Market.

Northwell is a 28-hospital system with 14,500 providers and more than 1,000 care locations. The system’s Metro Market includes hospitals and ambulatory care locations in Staten Island, Manhattan, Brooklyn, and western Queens.
