Ms. Markham previously served as system vice president and deputy general counsel for Chapel Hill, N.C.-based UNC Health, according to an Oct. 19 news release. In addition, she has experience working as a health law associate at a large North Carolina law firm.
She assumed the new role, serving both ECU Health and East Carolina University’s Brody School of Medicine, on Oct. 16.
