Leigh Holston has exited her role as CEO of Holly Hill Hospital in Raleigh, N.C., a spokesperson for Universal Health Services, which operates the hospital, confirmed to Becker’s.
Kippy Woodlief, DNP, RN, is now interim CEO of the behavioral health facility, the spokesperson said. Dr. Woodlief previously served as chief nursing officer at the hospital and has more than 23 years of nursing experience, including leadership roles, according to the hospital’s website.
Ms. Holston stepped down for personal reasons and has taken on the role of interim CEO of Peachford Hospital, a 246-bed facility, in Dunwoody, Ga., the spokesperson said. Peachford also is operated by King of Prussia, Pa.-based UHS.
“Serving as the CEO at Holly Hill Hospital, which has served the greater North Carolina community for over 30 years, has been one of the greatest professional opportunities of my life,” Ms. Holston told NBC affiliate WRAL in a Jan. 30 report. “I would like to thank the hundreds of staff members who demonstrate compassion, integrity, and professionalism every day. I would also like to thank the community for your partnership and support.”
