NewYork-Presbyterian promotes hospital COO to president

Juan Mejia has been promoted to president of NewYork-Presbyterian/Brooklyn Methodist Hospital in New York City.

Mr. Mejia most recently served as senior vice president and chief operating officer for the health system’s Lower Manhattan Hospital. 

He announced the transition on his LinkedIn profile Aug. 9.
