Nassau-Suffolk Hospital Council CEO to Lead Hudson Valley Hospitals

Nassau-Suffolk Hospital Council president and CEO Kevin Dahill accepted a second post as CEO of Northern Metropolitan Hospital Association in Newburgh, N.Y., according to a report by Long Island Business News.

As CEO of NorMet, Mr. Dahill will oversee 30 Hudson Valley hospitals as well as the 24 Long Island hospitals represented by Nassau-Suffolk Hospital Council.

Mr. Dahill succeeds Neil Abitabilo, who retired after 25 years at the group. Mr. Dahill has a long history of involvement in the region, having served as president of New York United Hospital in Port Chester, N.Y. He also held various administrative positions at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York City.
