New York system taps new CFO

Frances Spreer Albert has been named executive vice president and CFO of Valhalla, N.Y.-based Westchester Medical Center Health Network, according to an Aug. 17 news release.

Ms. Spreer Albert succeeds interim CFO Michael Burke, who retired July 1.

Prior to her new role, Ms. Spreer Albert served as CFO and COO of Albany (N.Y.) Med Health System, a four-hospital, academic health system.

In her new role, Ms. Spreer Albert will oversee WMCHealth’s financial strategy and identify areas to strengthen performance and support the system’s growth and integration, the release said.
