Rochester (N.Y.) Regional Health, a nine-hospital system, has named Leslie Wong, MD, as its first chief clinical officer.
Dr. Wong, who joined Rochester Regional health in 2024 as executive medical director for the medicine service line, assumed the new position March 23, according to an April 1 news release from the system. The system also named him executive vice president.
He previously served Salt Lake City-based Intermountain Health and Cleveland Clinic, according to his LinkedIn profile.
Rochester Regional Health’s chief medical officer, Robert Mayo, MD, stepped down from his role March 31 after working at the system since 2002.
