New York Eye & Ear Infirmary Appoints Dr. James Tsai President, Chair of Ophthalmology

New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai has selected James Tsai, MD, MBA, as president, effective in September, according to a company news release.

Dr. Tsai has also been named chair of ophthalmology for the Mount Sinai Health System.

He previously served as chair of the department of ophthalmology and visual science at Yale School of Medicine and chief of ophthalmology at Yale-New Haven Hospital, both in New Haven, Conn. He also directed the glaucoma division at the Edward S. Harkness Eye Institute at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York.
