New London Hospital CMO steps down: 3 notes

New London (N.H.) Hospital CMO Steven Powell, MD, resigned, according to a Valley News report.

1. Dr. Powell left to take on the CMO role at MedOptions, a provider of behavioral health services to skilled nursing and assisted living facilities.

2. He departed from the role in May.

3. New London Hospital is an affiliate of Lebanon, N.H.-based Dartmouth-Hitchcock.
