New Jersey system taps chief experience officer

Ruth Bash has been named senior vice president and chief experience officer of Mullica Hill, N.J.-based Inspira Health, effective Feb. 2.

In this role, Ms. Bash will lead initiatives to enhance the healthcare experience across the system, according to a Feb. 4 news release. She will also oversee patient and family engagement and workforce experience.

Ms. Bash brings nearly 30 years of experience to the role, most recently serving as Inspira’s system vice president of strategic partnerships. Before joining the system in 2022, she was chief human resources officer at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, N.J., and chief culture officer at Children’s Specialized Hospital in New Brunswick, N.J., according to her LinkedIn profile.

Inspira Health operates four hospitals, two comprehensive cancer centers and nine multispeciality health centers.
