Trenton, N.J.-based Capital Health named Melissa Chichilitti, MSN, RN, chief nursing officer.
In her role, Ms. Chichilitti will oversee logistics, throughput, care management, and environmental and escort services. She will also be responsible for nursing and patient services across adult and pediatric departments and clinics, including maternal child health services, ICU, emergency departments, operating rooms, observation units, respiratory therapy, mental health and dialysis departments, according to a March 20 system news release.
She started with the hospital system as a unit secretary more than 25 years ago. After becoming a nurse, she held a number of leadership positions, including associate CNO at Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton.
