Speare Memorial Hospital in Plymouth, N.H., has named Craig Williams as president and CEO, effective June 1.
Mr. Williams will succeed Michelle McEwen, who is retiring from the role, according to an April 10 hospital news release shared with Becker’s.
Mr. Williams most recently served as executive COO at Chicago-based Cook County Health. He joined the system in September 2022 as chief administrative officer and stepped into his current role in June, according to his LinkedIn profile. He previously held executive roles at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Tufts Medical Center, both in Boston.
Ms. McEwen joined the hospital in 1994 and has served as CEO since 2000.
Speare Memorial is a 25-bed critical access hospital.
