New AdventHealth Kansas hospital taps CFO, chief nursing officer

AdventHealth Lenexa (Kan.) City Center, part of Altamonte Springs, Fla.-based AdventHealth, has added two leaders to its C-suite ahead of its expected opening in July.

Rodney Allen II was named vice president and CFO of the 96-bed hospital, according to a Jan. 29 AdventHealth news release. Teresa Noland, RN, BSN, was named vice president and chief nursing officer.    

Mr. Allen most recently served as director of finance for Merriam, Kan.-based AdventHealth Shawnee Mission. He previously served as director finance for AdventHealth South Overland Park (Kan.) and AdventHealth Ottawa (Kan.).    

Ms. Noland most recently served as assistant chief nursing officer for AdventHealth Shawnee Mission. She takes on the role with more than 25 years of healthcare experience, including 15 years as a nurse executive. 

The hospital previously named Sissel Jacob president and CEO. She previously served as president and CEO of AdventHealth Manchester (Ky.). 

Once opened, the new hospital will be the first and only inpatient hospital in Lenexa and will offer surgery, cardiology, orthopedics, and a 24/7 emergency room, according to the release. The campus will also include two medical buildings.
