Roger Reamer will retire as CEO of Seward, Neb.-based Memorial Health Care Systems in spring 2027.
Mr. Reamer has led the system for more than 26 years, according to an Aug. 24 news release. He will remain in the role through spring 2027 to support the transition, and the board will begin succession planning in the coming months.
During his tenure, the system expanded services and invested in facilities and technology, the release said.
Mr. Reamer has served on the American Hospital Association board of directors, the Nebraska Board of Health, the Bryan College of Health Sciences board of trustees and the University of Nebraska Medical Center board of councilors, according to the release. He chaired the Nebraska Hospital Association in 2005.
Memorial Health Care Systems comprises a critical access hospital, three rural health clinics, a standalone urgent care and a retail pharmacy, according to the release.
