Nebraska hospital taps Arizona CNO as chief clinical officer

Hastings, Neb.-based Mary Lanning Healthcare named Rebecca Bleich, BSN, RN-P, chief clinical officer, effective Oct. 5.

As CCO, Ms. Bleich’s scope will include all areas of nursing, clinical operations, non-physician staff, respiratory therapy, physical, occupational and speech therapy, pharmacy, laboratory and more, according to a Sept. 9 system news release. She will also oversee patient care excellence, staff supervision, policy and compliance, and strategic planning. 

She succeeds Laurie Stevens who served as the hospital’s interim chief nursing officer and who will return to her nursing director role at the hospital. 

Most recently, Ms. Bleich served as CNO at Northwest Medical Center in Tucson, Ariz.
