Here are four things to know about Mr. Ziolkowski.
1. Most recently, he served as COO of Saint Joseph Health – Sonoma County, a two-hospital integrated delivery system in Santa Rosa, Calif.
2. Mr. Ziolkowski was also previously senior director of hospital affiliations and market development for Duke University Health System in Durham, N.C. There, he was instrumental in the development and launch of Brentwood, Tenn.-based Duke LifePoint Healthcare, according to PMH.
3. In his new role, he replaces Bob Singletary, who has served as interim CEO since April.
4. Mr. Ziolkowski earned a master’s degree in healthcare administration from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Marquette University in Milwaukee.
