Navarro Regional Hospital appoints CEO

Corsicana, Texas-based Navarro Regional Hospital named Curt Junkins CEO, effective Feb. 25, according to the Corsicana Daily Sun.

Three things to know:

1. Mr. Junkins has more than 10 years of healthcare management experience.

2. Prior to joining the 162-bed hospital, he served as COO of Cedar Park (Texas) Regional Medical Center. His other leadership roles include a stint as assistant CEO at Brownwood (Texas) Regional Medical Center.

“I am excited about the opportunity to serve at Navarro Regional Hospital and to continue the mission of providing safe, quality care to the community,” Mr. Junkins said in a statement obtained by the Corsicana Daily Sun.

3. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Texas A&M University in College Station.
