In his new role, Dr. Walls leads a team of 360 providers including physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants. Trained as an emergency room physician, Dr. Walls completed his residency at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore.
Prior to joining Natividad, he worked as an ER physician at MacNeal Hospital in Chicago and St. Mary Medical Center in Hobart, Ill. At Natividad, he has served in a number of key positions, such as medical director of the emergency department.
Dr. Walls is replacing interim CMO Peter Chandler, MD.
