MultiCare names president for 2 hospitals

Brandon Mencini was appointed president of Auburn and Covington medical centers in Washington state, which are part of Tacoma-based MultiCare Health System, and market leader for South King County.

Mr. Mencini joined MultiCare on Nov. 3 from Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center in Medford, Ore., and Asante Ashland Community Hospital in Ashland, Ore., where he served as CEO, according to a Nov. 5 health system news release.

Throughout his career, he has also served as CEO of Mercy Hospital in Durango, Colo., and COO of Chippenham Hospital in Richmond, Va.

MultiCare is a 13-hospital system with more than 28,000 employees.
