Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center names 2 new executives

Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center in Windsor, Vt., has announced the addition of two new executives to the organization’s leadership team.

MAHHC has named Joseph Perras, MD, CMO. Since 2013, Dr. Perras has served as the hospital’s medical director of hospitalist services and the medical director of care management. Prior to joining MAHHC, he served as the interim section chief of hospital medicine and medical director of care management at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H.

The medical center also named Patti Strohla, RN, to the hospital’s senior leadership team. As a team member, Ms. Strohla will oversee the day-to-day management of the hospital’s information technology, quality department and reporting. She was named MAHHC’s director of clinical systems transformation in 2013 after first joining the hospital as a consultant in 2011.
