Here are five things to know.
1. Mr. Park is departing to become system CEO at Northwest Health in Bentonville, Ark.
2. He became CEO of MountainView Regional in 2009, prior to which he served as the hospital’s COO.
3. During his tenure, the medical center established the MountainView Medical Group and developed the state’s first freestanding emergency center, according to a letter Mr. Park sent to the staff. Las Cruces Sun News obtained the letter.
4. Before joining MountainView Regional, he was associate CEO of Payson (Ariz.) Regional Medical Center, now a part of Phoenix-based Banner Health.
5. He holds an MBA from New Mexico State University in Las Cruces.
