Mount Nittany Health names Kathleen Rhine CEO

State College, Pa.-based Mount Nittany Health has named Kathleen Rhine president and CEO, effective Jan. 30.

Ms. Rhine has more than 25 years of healthcare leadership experience. She’s held executive positions at several hospitals and health systems, including Ann Arbor, Mich.-based Saint Joseph Mercy Health System, where she served as COO for two of its hospitals. Most recently, she served as regional president and CEO with Presence Health in Chicago.

Ms. Rhine earned a bachelor of science in health planning and administration from Pennsylvania State University in State College and a MBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
