Mr. May most recently served as CEO of Doctors Hospital of Manteca (Calif.). He has worked with Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare, Doctors Hospital of Manteca’s parent, since 2013, when he joined as CFO of Hospitals of Providence East Campus in El Paso, Texas.
He has served as CFO at Bartow (Fla.) Regional Medical Center, a BayCare Health System facility.
Mr. May is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, a member of the California Association of Hospital Leaders and a former president of the Southwest Healthcare Executives Association.
He succeeds Sarah Naumowich, who left to be president of St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital and St. Joseph’s Women’s Hospital, both BayCare facilities in Tampa, Fla.
