Montgomery County Memorial Hospital names David Abercrombie CEO

Montgomery County Memorial Hospital in Red Oak, Iowa, has appointed David Abercrombie as CEO, effective Dec. 8.

Mr. Abercrombie has more than 30 years of leadership experience, including more than 10 years as a rural critical access hospital executive. Previously, Mr. Abercrombie served as CEO at Madison County Memorial Hospital in Madison, Fla. He also held the role of CEO at Fairview Regional Medical Center in Fairview, Okla., and Artesia (N.M) General Hospital.

Abercrombie earned a master of jurisprudence in health law from Loyola University in Chicago, as well as an MBA from Dallas (Texas) Baptist University. He is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.
