St. Luke’s Health System Names Interim CEO for Idaho’s North Canyon Medical Center

St. Luke’s Health System hired Bob Phillips as interim CEO for North Canyon Medical Center in Gooding, Idaho, last week, replacing temporary interim CEO Devan Johnson, according to a Times-News Magic Valley report.

Mr. Phillips started work on Nov. 1. He retired four years ago as CEO of a hospital in Branson, Mo., and has since worked as an interim CEO, mainly for hospitals in the southeast United States.

The national search continues for a permanent CEO to replace Earl Fitzpatrick, who was fired in Sept. 2010. According to the report, the hospital should choose a new CEO by February.
