Missouri system taps chief nursing officer

West Plains, Mo.-based Ozarks Healthcare named Tonya Aaron, BSN, RN, chief nursing officer.

In her role, Ms. Aaron will oversee nursing operations across the system, with a focus on workforce development, recruitment, retention and professional growth. She will also advance quality, safety and patient-centered care, according to a June 29 system press release.

Most recently, she served as director of emergency services at Ozarks.
