Dr. Zerrer will step into her new role April 7, and succeeds Robin Blount, MD, who will retire after 38 years at the system, according to a Feb. 11 system news release.
“She brings a significant amount of leadership experience that will enhance an already strong organization and help us as we expand our services to address the health care needs of the community,” CEO Brady Dubois said in the release.
Previously, Dr. Zerrer served as chief of staff for Harry S. Truman Memorial Veterans Hospital in Columbia since June 2010.
