Missouri hospital hires CEO

Kirksville, Mo.-based Northeast Regional Medical Center has named Patrick Avila CEO, effective Sept. 11.

Mr. Avila most recently served as president and CEO of Central City, Neb.-based Merrick Medical Center, according to an Aug. 4 news release. His resume includes leadership roles in operations and compliance at three Missouri hospitals.
