Missouri hospital CEO is out

Tony Keene is no longer CEO of Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, Mo., as of Jan. 13, according to a hospital statement shared with Becker's.

"We appreciate and thank him for all he has done during his tenure with NRMC and wish him the best in the future," the statement says. No additional details about his departure were provided.

Mr. Keene became CEO of Northeast Regional in summer 2021. Before that, he served as CEO of Sullivan County Memorial Hospital in Milan, Mo., according to his LinkedIn page.

Northeast Regional said Dwayne Blaylock, a seasoned healthcare executive, was selected as interim CEO and, along with the hospital leadership team, will oversee hospital operations until permanent leadership is named.

Northeast Regional is a 93-bed facility, according to its website.
