Mac Flynt has been appointed administrator and CEO of OCH Regional Medical Center in Starkville, Miss., effective Oct. 1, as the hospital prepares to join Memphis, Tenn.-based Baptist Memorial Health Care.
Mr. Flynt has served as administrator and CEO of Baptist Memorial Hospital-Attala and Baptist Memorial Hospital-Yazoo since April 2023, according to a Sept. 18 health system news release. He has held leadership roles within Baptist Memorial in Central Mississippi since 2020.
In August, Baptist Memorial and the Oktibbeha County Board of Supervisors signed a definitive agreement for the $55 million purchase of OCH. The agreement included additional investment commitments and employment offers to all staff in good standing.
Baptist Memorial Health Care includes 23 affiliate hospitals across Tennessee, Mississippi and Arkansas.
