Minnesota’s Allina Hospitals & Clinics Names President for Unity Hospital

Allina Hospitals & Clinics has named Lori Wightman president of Unity Hospital in Fridley, Minn., effective Jan. 2011, according to a hospital system news release.

Ms. Wightman currently serves as president of New Ulm (Minn.) Medical Center. In her new role at Unity, she will replace interim president John Stoltenberg, MD, who has filled the position since the retirement of Rickie Ressler last year.

Ms. Wightman has been president of New Ulm for more than eight years, during which time the hospital and clinic has adopted a fully integrated medical record.
