Mr. Carty tendered his resignation on Oct. 4, when he was placed on administrative leave. The hospital has not yet disclosed the reasons for the decision. Deb Green, business manager and spokeswoman, told the Ravalli Republic, Mr. Carty’s resignation couldn’t be announced to staff members until last Thursday.
