Michigan hospital CEO named 

Manistique, Mich.-based Schoolcraft Memorial Hospital has named Andy Bertapelle as its new CEO, local Fox affiliate WLUC reported May 17.

Mr. Bertapelle will be onboarded by current CEO Robert Crumb, and will fully take on his duties in July. He comes to Schoolcraft Memorial Hospital from Gunnison Valley Health in Colorado where he served as the systems CNO. 

Mr. Crumb led the health system through a new EHR integration and a $12 million building expansion project.

“I’m excited to be coming to Manistique as the next Chief Executive Officer for Schoolcraft Memorial Hospital,” said Mr. Bertapelle. “You have a great healthcare organization in Manistique and I’m honored to be taking the helm from Bob Crumb.”
