Michael Fosina named president of NYP/Lawrence Hospital: 3 things to know

Michael J. Fosina, senior executive at NewYork-Presbyterian hospital campuses in Manhattan, N.Y., has been named president of NewYork-Presbyterian/Lawrence Hospital in Bronxville, N.Y., according to a Westchester County Business Journal report.

Here are three things to know about Mr. Fosina.

1. He succeeds Edward M. Dinan, who retired this month after 15 years as president and CEO of the 106-year-old, 291-bed community hospital in Bronxville.

2. In his most recent post as senior vice president and COO of New York-Presbyterian/Lower Manhattan Hospital, Mr. Fosina helped establish NewYork-Presbyterian’s sixth medical campus, according to the report.

3. Previously, Mr. Fosina served for many years as executive director of NewYork-Presbyterian’s Allen Pavilion in upper Manhattan.
