MGMA names Dr. Halee Fischer-Wright CEO

The Medical Group Management Association has named Halee S. Fischer-Wright, MD, as its president and CEO, effective March 23.

Dr. Fischer-Wright is currently the CMO of St. Anthony North Health Campus in Westminster, Colo., part of Centura Health. Early in her career, she started her own successful medical practice, and she has experience as a management consultant and physician executive. She is also a published author.

As president and CEO of MGMA, Dr. Fischer-Wright will be responsible for strategic leadership and vision of MGMA and implementing the organization’s new three-year strategic plan, among other duties.

Dr. Fischer-Wright earned her medical degree from the University of Colorado School of Medicine and also holds a Masters of Medical Management and a certificate of executive leadership.
