Methodist taps leader for 2 Nebraska hospitals

Julie Murray has been appointed executive vice president of Methodist Hospital and Methodist Women’s Hospital in Omaha, Neb., effective April 1.

Ms. Murray has served as interim executive vice president of the hospitals since Jan. 1, according to a March 30 news release from Omaha-based Methodist Health System. She previously served as vice president of ancillary and professional services since 2018.

She was CEO of Bryan Health’s Merrick Medical Center/Litzenberg Memorial County Hospital in Central City, Neb., from 2013 to 2018. Before that, Ms. Murray was director of Methodist Hospital’s hospital-based clinics and professional services from 2010 to 2013.
