Methodist Le Bonheur names former Renown Health executive chief digital officer

Patrick Woodard, MD, has been named vice president and chief digital officer for Memphis, Tenn.-based Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare.

“Dr. Woodard will help transform our digital health technologies so we can integrate user-friendly and interactive platforms to expand patient engagement,” Ron Fuschillo, the health system’s chief information officer, said in a Sept. 13 news release shared with Becker’s. “As a board-certified internal medicine physician, Dr. Woodard brings incredible perspective through his combined skills as a physician and his knowledge of integrated digital networks.”

Dr. Woodard joins Methodist Le Bonheur from Reno, Nev.-based Renown Health, where he served as vice president and chief medical information officer.
