Chesterfield, Mo.-based Mercy has named Rhett Stover president of Mercy Northwest Arkansas Communities, effective Dec. 1.
Mr. Stover will return to Mercy after serving as CEO of Proactive MD, a value-based care organization operating in 22 states, according to a Nov. 19 health system news release. He previously held roles as CEO of Oklahoma State University Medicine and chief administrative officer of Mercy Hospital Oklahoma City.
In his new role, Mr. Stover will lead operations and strategy for Mercy’s hospitals and clinics across Northwest Arkansas. He will also oversee initiatives including a 30-year collaboration with the Alice L. Walton Foundation and Heartland Whole Health Institute.
Mercy operates 55 acute care and specialty hospitals.
