Mercy Medical Center-Centerville president to retire: 5 notes

Mercy Medical Center-Centerville (Iowa) President Clint Christianson is retiring, effective Aug. 15.

Here are five notes:

1. Mr. Christianson has worked within West Des Moines, Iowa-based Mercy Health Network, Centerville hospital’s parent, for 21 years.

2. He assumed the president role at Mercy Medical Center-Centerville in 2004.

3. During his tenure, the hospital acquired the Centerville Medical Clinic and consolidated it with the hospital’s physician clinic.

4. The hospital is also poised to begin a multiphase building and renovation project.

5. Mercy Medical Center-Centerville will immediately begin the search for Mr. Christianson’s successor.
