Mercy Springfield (Mo.) Communities named Nicki Gamet, BSN, chief nursing officer, the Springfield Daily Citizen reported April 30.
She will replace Marie Moore, BSN, who was promoted to president of Mercy Washington and Lincoln Communities. In her new role, Ms. Gamet will lead more than 3,400 nurses at Mercy Springfield.
Ms. Gamet has worked at Mercy for 27 years and most recently served as vice president of regional operations. She steps in as chief nursing officer on May 1.
