Mercy Health-Springfield appoints interim president: 4 notes

Mercy Health-Springfield (Ohio) selected Adam Groshans to serve as interim president, according to a Springfield News-Sun report.

Four notes:

1. Mr. Groshans most recently served as COO of the Springfield hospital.

2. He came to Mercy Health-Springfield from Tennova Healthcare Lebanon (Tenn.), where he was a member of the administrative team.

3. He holds an MBA from Cumberland University in Lebanon.

4. Mr. Groshans succeeds Matt Caldwell, who is taking on the role of president of Bon Secours’ Greenville (S.C.) market.
