Mercy Health-Kentucky taps clinical chief of 2 hospitals

Paducah-based Mercy Health-Kentucky named Nicholas O’Dell, MD, chief clinical officer.

Dr. O’Dell will oversee all clinical operations, physician services and quality and safety initiatives at Mercy Health-Lourdes Hospital in Paducah and Mercy Health-Marcum and Wallace Hospital, both in Irvine, Ky., according to an Aug. 5 system news release shared with Becker’s. He will also work closely with the executive team to ensure exceptional patient care and develop the hospital’s clinical programs.

Previously, he served as chief medical officer at Murray (Ky.)-Calloway County Hospital.

Mercy Health-Kentucky is part of Cincinnati-based Mercy Health.
